We had freezing temperatures. I try running the sheep and cows in leader-follower moves but run into a problem with water pressure.
Monday 2/17
Some philosophical stuff.
It looks like we have a real opportunity to fix our own family’s food supply, but it requires we take action.
Tuesday 2/18
More philosophical stuff. What does truth look like and how can we find it?
Wednesday 2/19
It got really cold. I found a lamb, EWE 0077, hypothermic and brought her home. She seemed to recover.
Thursday 2/20
It’s below freezing. I’m going to try the no-medicine route with my sheep. Is it going to work? If not, I’ll try something else.
Friday 2/21
Trying leader-follower with the herds again.
Saturday 2/22
I brought EWE 0077 back to the pasture.
Sunday 2/23
So the water pressure wasn’t high enough in the southeastern corner of my pasture. I guess 2100′ of 1″ PEX and then 100′ of 3/4″ hose and then 4 or 5 100′ 5/8″ hose just can’t carry enough water and maintain pressure to make the float valves work.
