The cows and sheep were laying down chewing their cud. The cows and bulls like to crowd together at the wire. I though I saw a young calf cross the wire but she is back.
There’s a bunch of blue flowers that suddenly appeared. The dog tackles me while I try to video them.
There are tons of different flowers too.
I’m trying to train the dogs to stay with the sheep but I’m not doing so well.
Again there was way more grass than the cows could eat.
I don’t have to shear the sheep because these are hair sheep. They grow a coat in the winter and shed it in the spring.
The manure patties are starting to firm up but some are still too runny.
I’m seeing more and more horn flies appearing.
